Purchasing goods from us.

 

Payment

1.1. By placing an order, you agree to pay in full all applicable fees, including where applicable any delivery charges and applicable taxes, duties or other fees. At present McBrick's Bricks can only ship domestically to the UK.

1.2. Depending on location and the Products ordered, McBrick's Bricks may be required to collect taxes applicable to your order, whether that is sales tax, value added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), general consumption tax (GCT) or other taxes which may be levied in respect of a transaction contemplated by these McBrick's Bricks Terms. 

1.3. Unless agreed otherwise, McBrick's Bricks requires payment verification and authorisation prior to delivery and performance of any Products and may suspend delivery and/or performance until full payment of all fees is received.

1.4. When the service may be available to ship overseas at a later date. If you order a Physical Product that requires cross-border delivery, you agree that you will be responsible for paying applicable import duties and customer clearance duties (unless we have expressly indicated otherwise on the Site or in your order confirmation email), even where you have not been advised of such duties at the time you placed your order on the Site. 

1.5. You consent to receive invoices and credits solely electronically (e.g. PDF, HTML format). We may deliver electronic invoices to you by placing them in your Account and/or sending them by email. We are under no obligation to provide an invoice in paper form.

Delivery, Title and Risk

2.1. When you order Products from us:
a) We will deliver the Physical Products to the address specified in the order confirmation, using our standard methods for packaging and in accordance with your chosen delivery option. Such delivery is contingent upon McBrick's Bricks having received all applicable payments in full by their appropriate due date, unless agreed otherwise. Any delivery date or time estimates that we provide to you are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as such.
b) If you have submitted an order for multiple Products, we may, at our discretion, ship the Physical Products in whole or by instalments in any sequence, or deliver the Physical Products prior to the date of delivery, and in such event, you must not refuse to take delivery of the Physical Products. Where the Physical Products are delivered in instalments or partial deliveries, each instalment or part delivery shall be deemed a separate sale agreement between us, and any delay in delivery of or defect in one instalment or part delivery shall not entitle you to cancel any other instalment or terminate the entire sale agreement.
c) You agree that the risk of loss and title for any Physical Product passes to you upon our delivery to our chosen carrier at the shipping dock of the respective manufacturing facility that fulfils your order.
d) You are required to inspect the Physical Product promptly after delivery is made and you must notify us by contacting us via the contact us page, about any alleged defects, non-conformances or damages within fourteen days following delivery of the Physical Products. Your failure to timely notify us after delivery as indicated in this section, voids the product warranty.

LEGO

If your LEGO set is missing pieces, please contact LEGO directly and they will send you the missing piece(s) as soon as possible.

Make sure you have the part number, design number (on the side of the box) and the name of the set ready and you will be sent the missing part(s) as promptly as possible.

Unwanted items

Simply return your unwanted item within 28 days of receipt unused, unopened, in its original condition and packaging, your return must be in a re-sellable condition.

All returns must be accompanied by a valid McBrick's Bricks receipt/email invoice. You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us and must ensure that they are returned in protective packaging. Where an item is damaged or returned otherwise than as per our stated requirements above, we reserve the right to refuse redress.

Refunds on unwanted items

Once the unwanted item is received back to us it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We strive to ensure all your purchases reach you in perfect condition. If you receive a delivery and the item is damaged please refuse the delivery.

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, you may return this item to us in accordance with your statutory rights.
 

All Other Information

Refunds

You should receive notification of your refund within 10 working days after your parcel has been returned. If you have not received notification of your refund within 10 working days please contact us via the contact page on this website.

Cooling Off Period

There is a cooling off period of 14 days during which you have the right to cancel your order. You must provide notice of cancellation no later than 14 days after the receipt of goods through the following medium:

We will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge provided that the goods are returned to us in their original condition. Where the returned/cancelled item forms part of a larger order all of which is not being returned, the original delivery charge will continue to apply.

Returning Incorrect Items

Upon delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity.

Please note that some items may be dispatched in an outer carton that differs in description to that of the items ordered. Where you have received the incorrect items, we will arrange collection of the incorrect items on a date suitable for you within 7 days of the correct item being delivered. Where the correct item has been delivered and the incorrect item has not been collected or otherwise returned to us, then you will be liable for the cost of the incorrect item(s).
